About the studio

Music Box is a professional recording studio located in the heart of the somerset countryside. Based around a large, British analogue mixing console, we combine the best elements of analogue and digital recording to ensure release-quality recording at prices that is within reach of all bands. We pride ourselves on our friendly, relaxed yet focused atmosphere, with a homely control room that has sofa seating for up to  10 people!

Run by Andy (bassist with New Riot (Ex-Fandangle) and guitarist for Mr Zippy) the studio is set up to record all styles, and Andy is experienced in producing Punk, Ska, Metal & Rock bands.

We also have a Large Caravan on site, which is cheap to rent for bands, with room to sleep 6 people comfortably. Note it IS fairly basic, but has a Heater, TV & Microwave. The caravan prices include morning showers in the farmhouse beside it. Please ask for prices.
We can also help sort out cheap local accomodation both locally and in Glastonbury (where Andy lives), and the studio has the use of a Kitchen, Toilet and Internet. There is a pub and shop within walking distance, and a Tesco supermarket and towns a short drive.
